How we collect, use and protect your information.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, delivery address, optional phone number and optional gift note, together with the items and scents you chose. When you create an account, Netlify Identity holds your email address and a hashed password on our behalf. When you subscribe to the house list we collect your email address only.
How we use it
- To take, pack, deliver and support your order.
- To send order confirmations and delivery updates.
- To answer messages you send to client care.
- To send the house newsletter, where you have asked for it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers who help us run the store and deliver your parcel.
Storage
Orders are stored in our hosted database. Account credentials are held by Netlify Identity. Newsletter and contact submissions are received through Netlify Forms. Your shopping bag and wishlist are kept in your own browser’s local storage and are never sent to us until you place an order.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in when you have an account. We do not run advertising trackers.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@velorafragrance.com and we will respond within 30 days. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any message.
Children
The store is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16.
Changes
If this policy changes we will post the new version on this page. Continuing to use the store after a change means you accept the updated policy.
